Internship at the Illuminated River Foundation

The Illuminated River Foundation is the charity established to manage the design and installation of a major new public artwork (supported by the Mayor of London and City of London Corporation) that will see central London’s bridges lit in the longest permanent public art commission in the world.

As part of this exciting project we are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to complete a one-month paid internship in our central London office as part of the small, dedicated Illuminated River team.

You will be working with an emphasis on community engagement conducted through desktop research, and will need excellent IT skills, especially Microsoft Excel. You will also need a good telephone manner, to be self-motivated, tenacious, and a good lateral thinker. You will also provide support at and prepare materials for our events.

We believe in treating people fairly and will be offering the London Living Wage, as well as a copious supply of biscuits and tea!

The deadline for application is 5th January, after which we will invite shortlisted applicants to interview. The position will start week of 5th February with the possibility of extending the internship if our timetable permits.

Salary: £9.75/hour based on a 37.5 hour week
(9.30am-5.30pm Monday-Friday with 30 minutes for lunch)
