London, Cannon Street and Southwark bridges illuminated in NHS blue to show support for Covid-19 frontline workers

Southwark Bridge lit in NHS blue

Illuminated River turned London, Cannon Street and Southwark bridges NHS blue last Thursday (14th January) to show support for all those working on the Covid-19 frontline.

#LightItBlue is a tribute in colour to the fortitude of key workers and healthcare staff everywhere – a symbol of our grateful appreciation.

The Thames landmarks will be illuminated in NHS blue for the following three Thursdays, 6-9pm, to coincide with the 8pm 'Clap for Carers'. This has been arranged at the request of The City of London.
