Illuminated River Marks VE Day
As part of the VE Day commemorations, the bridges were lit in hues of red, white and blue lights.
To mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day, alongside other historic landmarks across the country, Illuminated River bridges shone across the Thames in alternate block colours of red, white and blue. The special illuminations marked the 80th anniversary of VE Day paying tribute to the millions of people across the UK and Commonwealth who served in the Second World War.
